The House on Sathorn is Bangkok's Latest Culinary Experience Destination. The 127-year-old colonial mansion on Sathorn Road in the heart of Bangkok offers nostalgic, theatrical flair to the city’s old-and-new juxtaposing scene with progressive Asian-inspired cuisine and artisinal cocktails.

THE
DINING ROOM

A specialty restaurant presenting dishes that are inspired by Chef Fatih’s travels, experiences and unforgettable culinary highlights across Asia. His menu is craftily curated with a "fun dining" concept combined with a perfect balance of technique, culinary sensibility and a sense of humor.

The restaurant features Thai-inspired handcraft tapestries which consist of an eclectic mix of sequins and embroidered patchwork that add a modern twist and rich textures to the space. An open kitchen against the long wooden counter entices diners to sit and interact with the chef in a comfortable and relaxed approach.

 

DRESS CODE: 

LUNCH (12 PM – 5.30 PM): The Dining Room adheres to smart casual dress code. All ages welcome.

DINNER (6 PM – 10.30 PM): The Dining Room adheres to a smart casual dress code for all guests. Please refrain from wearing short pants, flip flops or slippers, and sandals or sleeveless shirts for men. The House on Sathorn is a cluster of four majestic buildings that has long been
one of the most recognizable landmarks of Bangkok, as well as a national treasure
thanks to its rare and exquisite architectural heritage. Right behind The Courtyard
reveals The Conservatory, a 99 sq.m. state-of-the-art meeting and event space
catering up to 120 people. Hospitality Suites 1 – 4 with 30 - 45 sq.m can cater from
30 to 50 people.

Upstairs welcomes Bangkok's crowd to play and lounge in an environment that is
exclusive. With over 150 sq.m., it can cater up to 140 people for a private party or
event. Guests can mingle around in different rooms with different identities from
Emerald Room, Ruby Room, and Secret Room.

The design boasts opulent neo-classic grandeur with intricate ornaments and details
offering a picturesque juxtaposition of Bangkok’s ancient history against the modern
and international vibe of the present day, perfect for exclusive dinners, private events,
meetings, engagement ceremonies and weddings.

CHEF FATIH TUTAK
DIRECTOR OF CULINARY

Chef Fatih Tutak was born in Istanbul, where at a young age his culinary interest was inspired by his mother’s home cooking. This interest became passion and developed into the dream of becoming a Chef. He joined Turkey’s culinary school at Bolu Mengen. After working in some of the top establishments in Istanbul’s luxury hotel and restaurant industry, Chef Fatih had the opportunity to move abroad, with stop-overs in Beijing, Tokyo, Singapore, Denmark and Hong Kong.


Chef Fatih comes to The House on Sathorn after creating a unique dining experience at The Bellbrook Hong Kong, recognized by the Hong Kong-Macau Michelin Guide 2015. His other stints include the world-renowned restaurant NOMA in Copenhagen and 3 Michelin star Nihonryori Ryugin in Tokyo. He was also with the exciting Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, as the Executive Sous Chef.

Each of Chef Fatih’s dishes are inspired by his globetrotting experiences. Chef Fatih craftily curates his “fun dining” concept with a perfect balance of technique, culinary sensibility and a sense of humor. His creations will be served at The House on Sathorn.

CLÉMENT JACQUEL
DIRECTOR OF
RESTAURANTS & BARS

Mr. Clément Jacquel has been in the Hospitality and Food & Beverage industry
for more than 10 years. He has an extensive international background and
has worked in well-distinguished and renowned Hospitality companies.
He has joined Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts for almost four years
in San Diego, USA prior to being relocated to London, England
where he held the position of Assistant Outlet Manager in various
Food & Beverage outlets. In 2008, Clément then joined Jumeirah Group
in Dubai as Outlet Food & Beverage Manager for one of the largest
hotel lobby lounge serving more than 400 guests per day at the
Jumeirah Beach Hotel.

Clément then pursued his career in Asia, mainly based in China, Singapore,
Thailand and Myanmar in properties such as Pudong Shangri-La Hotel
in Shanghai; Resort World Sentosa for L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon
Restaurant both in position of Restaurant Manager. Clément’s path
then led him to experience the Food & Beverage consulting industry
in Chiang Mai, Thailand for the upcoming large entertainment complex,
Sonic Playground. Soon after, Clément was appointed General Manager
for the opening of the Loft Boutique Hotel in Yangon, Myanmar.

Clément is now the Director of Restaurants & Bars at The House on Sathorn
who will create the uniquely eclectic dining and entertainment
experience to Bangkok city!
